About M2 Hockey

Myers Muller M2 Hockey was formed in early 2009 by Jason Myers and Kevin Muller. After many post-practice discussions between 2007 and 2009 about the lack of fundamental hockey skills being taught throughout the country, as well in their own program, they decided it was time to try and not only improve upon the traditional teaching styles, but also expand beyond the basics and cover vital topics that aren't being taught. The beginning phases of the company took root when both Jason and Kevin began doing interval training in the off-season. Both felt there was a need for a program to be tailored to suit the specific needs of hockey players throughout an entire hockey season. With Jason and Kevin both being Midget hockey coaches, the natural tendencies were to develop a program that would push older players in the off-season and get them to the next level physically. As the program popularity began to take off within their organization (over 50% player participation), the buzz around the rinks quickly grew and it became apparent there was a demand for high-quality training options for players of all ages. Since the inception, the two have since spent countless hours polishing the program exercises and developing tools for players and coaches alike - even creating their own M2 workout room at a local rink!

Jason Myers - Jason hails from Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. His playing experience includes Soo Hawks Midget AAA, Minnesota Junior Hockey League, British Columbia Junior Hockey League and the West Coast Hockey League. Jason is currently coaching the Kenosha Komets midget minor team since 2007, as well as the mite development program. Jason's past coaching experience includes coaching in the Zion Wings organization for two seasons, and was the assistant for development camps in Seattle for 3 seasons during his playing carreer.

Kevin Muller - Kevin is a native from Waterford, Wisconsin. His playing experience includes Pettit National Selects AAA, Madison Capitols AAA, Warroad, MN High School, and Bethel College (D3). Kevin has been involved in coaching the Kenosha Komets Midget Major team since 2002, and has led the team to its first-ever back-to-back State and Fox Valley League Championships in 2008 and 2009. Kevin is also involved with coaching the developmental program for the Komets and is currently entering his 3rd year as Hockey Director. His past coaching experience includes coaching with the Wisconsin Wild AAA Girls U15 Team, power skating instruction since 2003, and lead instructor for the Puckmasters Hockey Training Center in Lake Bluff, Illinois.
